FRIENDSHIP, Wis. -- An Adams County man was found dead in his yard on Sunday and authorities said it appears a tree had fallen on him.

The sheriff's department was called to the man's house after neighbor found the man in the yard.

When authorities arrived, they discovered David Olson, 61, who appeared to have been in the process of cutting down a tree when the tree fell on him.

Olson died at the scene.
