Officials Release Name Of Man Found Dead At Campus-Area House

Man Discovered On Saturday

UPDATED: 6:53 pm CDT August 18, 2008

The Dane County coroner has released the name of a 29-year-old man found dead at a house Saturday night near the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus.

The coroner identified the victim as Jonathan J. Krenzelok, of Madison. He was discovered at a house attached to the Triangle Fraternity on Breese Terrace, near Camp Randall Stadium.

Authorities said that Krenzelok was helping a friend move into a fraternity house and that the two had spent the night drinking.

An autopsy was conducted Sunday and further medical studies are pending. The coroner said preliminary findings confirm that physical trauma wasn't the cause of death. Investigators said they don't suspect foul play.

The Madison Police Department and the Dane County Coroner's Office are continuing to investigate the death.
