UPDATED: 7:32 pm CDT June 25, 2008

St. Vincent De Paul is breaking ground for a new food pantry and service center in Madison.

The location of the new center is at 2033 Fish Hatchery Road, which is adjacent to the current facility on Culmen Street.

The goal of the new center is to provide a long-term home for Dane County's busiest food pantry and other St. Vincent De Paul programs of charitable aid," WISC-TV reported.
